Measures suggested by the Financial Secretary to support SMEs in order to boost the economy include: reduce profits tax by 75%, subject to a ceiling of $20,000; waiving the business registration fees; and waving the licence fees for many restaurants, travel agents, hotels and guesthouses for one year.
